SAGE Training DVDs Available
A high percentage of patients seen by occupational therapists are 65 or older.  In addition to OT needs, many of these patients face serious issues affecting their mental health, such as depression, caregiving difficulties, medication side effects, and substance abuse.  The SAGE Program is an 8-disc training set, produced through the Institute of Gerontology at Wayne State University, offers a self-paced, in-depth education on how to help these patients by integrating mental health practice into occupational therapy with older adults.
