Electronic Portfolios: Keeping Up in CyberSpace

Description of the Presentation:
A majority of the Occupational Therapy educational programs are now requiring students to create and maintain a professional portfolio. Wayne State University has implemented an electronic portfolio which students begin in there first professional year of the MOT program.
Using the Myfolio web page this presentation will demonstrate what an electronic portfolio looks like, and what documents are required to be kept in the portfolio. Discussion will follow on the pros and cons of using an electronic format and what implications it has for OT in the future.
