Title:

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Low Level Laser Therapy

Description of the Presentation:

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a modality that has recently been used in occupational therapy rehabilitation to help facilitate healing. The lasers penetrate the surface of the skin, resulting in pain control and decreased edema. A review of the literature reveals positive effects of LLLT; however, further research is recommended.
