Title:

Wellness Ergonomics: An Educational Approach to Preventing Worksite Injuries

Description of the Presentation:

This workshop will provide an understanding of the dynamics that exist in the work environment regarding work related injuries.  The presentation will emphasize the nature of work and wellness concepts to understand the essence of work and its relationship to potential injury.  The purpose is to help the learner understand the concepts of work wellness, the meaningfulness of work, work mechanics and ergonomic principles; and how it can be used to avoid behaviors that can cause injury.  In a lively and interactive format the learner will understand the concepts of WorkPace Performance principles of work and wellness and WorkSafe Stretching in order to be fully engaged in the process of wellness ergonomics.
