Can a new grad work legally in the state of Michigan before passing the NBCOT Registration Exam?

What does it mean when an OT cosigns the notes of another OT practitioner (OT, OTA, OT aide or OT student)?

Can a graduate of an OT program work legally in Michigan as an OT after failing the NBCOT Certification exam?

Question:
Are OTs and OTAs required to participate in the Continued Competency Program thru NBCOT here in Michigan? I thought I'd read somewhere that we don't have to be re-certified with NBCOT.

Question:
I received my BS degree in OT as well as NBCOT certification in 19----, I practiced for two years, but have been out of the field for about eight years. I now want to resume my practice. Am I correct that I need to complete 30 credits of continuing education for NBCOT certification before I begin practicing again?
